According to a study realized by the Spanish Association of Distributors and Publishers of Software of entertainment, aDeSe, almost half of the video games that are used in Spain are of illegal origin, something that it causes to the sector a few annual losses that climb up to 100 million euros.
The discharges Internet pirates, the acquaintance top-blanket and not authorized copies of games, are the form of acquisition of 44,6 % of the video games, although the games consoles users tend to buy more the originals and on the contrary, the computer users are those who more play with the software pirate.
According to Carlos Iglesias, General Secretary of aDeSe: "the volume of illegal discharges is tremendously high” who shares his worry for the musical sector and the piracy that so much it is affecting to this industry.
In this study also there has been revealed a radiography of the users of video games where he emphasizes that 60 % of the hearths, approximately 9,6 millions, has a computer, a major percentage in case of the Basque Country and Aragon and less in Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia.
And to finish the study, it has been stated that the women every time play more, and of the whole of users, 42 % is females and these prefer games of skill, social and with a more reflective use opposite to the games of action and sports chosen principally by the masculine public.
